One kitchen, shared

Household members work from the same cookbook, plan, and shopping list instead of keeping separate versions of the kitchen.

The Scullery method3.1 Gather

Cooking is a household decision, so the cookbook is a household space.

Invite the people you cook with and the cookbook, selected meals, plan, and shopping list are there for everyone to use. A meal added by one person is visible to the others, along with the ingredients it needs.

That matters when one person chooses a meal and another stops at the shop. The ingredients from recipes can sit beside the household items someone adds by hand, and everyone works from the same list.

One shared kitchen means the work of feeding a household does not have to live in one person's head.
