Build the list from what you chose

Add ingredients from one recipe or a plan, keep their recipe sources attached, and include household items on the same list.

The Scullery method3.2 Gather

Shopping continues the choice; it should not require another round of transcription.

Start with one recipe or with the meals in a plan. Scullery can add their ingredients to the shopping list, organise them by category, and keep each ingredient connected to the recipe that needs it.

When two lines may describe the same thing, Scullery asks for a review. After you combine them, the list still shows which recipes need the item. You can check the amount against the meals you intend to make.

The list also has room for toilet paper, washing-up liquid, and anything else the household notices during the week. Recipe ingredients and everyday items belong in one practical place.
